Amnesty on outdated pesticides

Amnesty on outdated pesticides

An initiative developed by a number of Government agencies is offering farmers the opportunity to dispose of any out of date or revoked biocides and pesticides for a one off fee of £20.

This amnesty by Project SOE (Security in the Operational Environment) is available until 14 March and is being offered on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. Farmers must first register on the Project SOE (Security in the Operational Environment) website (external link).

Project SOE is also seeking farmers’ views on the types of security threats they face, together with any examples of good practice that they may wish to share. There is a security tab on the website to leave comments or share good practice. This may be to do with the security of machinery, fuel stocks or other items essential for farming, such as biocides and pesticides.

Requests for further information or any questions should be sent to the Project SOE (Security in the Operational Environment) mailbox -info@projectsoe.org.
