Readers and viewers allow you to read file-types associated with commercial programmes without having the program installed on your computer. Readers and viewers can be up to 12MB in size but only need to be downloaded once.

File compression
WinZip is a file compression tool. This allows you to download large amounts of information in a smaller 'packaged' format. To unwrap the package, you'll need to use WinZip. We offer a link to a free evaluation version below.

Multimedia files
Multimedia files on this site are in Quicktime or AVI format. We offer links below to download the Quicktime and VLC Media player. The VLC player is available for most common operating systems and will play a wide range of media files.
